From Houston, take Hwy 288 South — the most direct route from the city. The drive is approximately 60 miles and takes 60–75 minutes depending on traffic. Hwy 288 is a divided highway with few traffic lights once you clear the Beltway 8 interchange. Traffic is heaviest on weekday mornings (7–9 AM) and afternoons (4–7 PM) near the 610 Loop and Beltway 8 — plan accordingly if you're arriving on a weekday.

From Galveston, take I-45 West to TX-332 West toward Freeport (approximately 50 miles, 55 minutes). From Corpus Christi or the Valley, take Hwy 35 North to Angleton, then TX-288 South to FM 523. The resort entrance is clearly marked on FM 523 with a large sign and a playground visible from the road.

Big rig and fifth-wheel friendly: FM 523 is a paved two-lane state highway with wide shoulders and no low bridges or sharp turns between Hwy 332 and the resort entrance. The resort's internal roads are concrete-paved and designed for rigs up to 47 feet. Pull-through sites are available — call ahead to request one if you need extra length.

Lake Jackson (10 minutes north) is the main commercial hub for the area, with H-E-B, Walmart Supercenter, Home Depot, Lowe's, and a full range of restaurants including Chili's, Whataburger, Cracker Barrel, and numerous local options. CVS and Walgreens pharmacies are also in Lake Jackson.

Freeport (8 minutes south) has additional grocery options, hardware stores, and a full-service marina. The Freeport Medical Center emergency room is approximately 10 minutes from the resort. The nearest urgent care clinic is in Lake Jackson.

Propane fill-up stations are available in both Lake Jackson and Freeport. The nearest diesel fuel stop with truck-friendly access is the Love's Travel Stop on Hwy 288 in Angleton (20 minutes north). Several gas stations with diesel are also available in Lake Jackson.
